These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Two Plates mobile application, the 2pl8s.app website, and related services (together, the "Service"). The Service is provided by NORDIC APP STUDIO LTD ("we", "us" or "our").
By downloading, accessing, purchasing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and acceptance
You must be legally capable of entering into these Terms. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms for you where required by law.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service is lawful where you live and suitable for your health, experience, equipment and training environment.
2. Licence and ownership
The Service is licensed, not sold. Subject to these Terms, NORDIC APP STUDIO LTD grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable licence to install and use Two Plates on Apple devices that you own or control, solely for personal and non-commercial use.
NORDIC APP STUDIO LTD and its licensors retain all ownership rights in the Service, including its software, source code, designs, programming systems, training content, calculations, text, artwork, brands, logos, graphics, animations, sounds and overall look and feel.
Apple's applicable App Store terms and the Apple Standard End User Licence Agreement may also apply. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
3. Free features, subscriptions and payment
Two Plates may offer free functionality and paid subscription functionality. Current features, subscription periods, prices, introductory offers and eligibility are displayed in the App Store or in the app before purchase.
Subscriptions may be offered on monthly or annual terms. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when the purchase is confirmed. Unless cancelled, a subscription renews automatically at the price and period shown at purchase. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
Trials and introductory prices, when offered, are subject to eligibility rules set by Apple. We do not guarantee that a particular offer will be available to every user.
Purchases, billing, refunds and charge disputes made through the App Store are administered by Apple and are subject to Apple's policies and applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory refund or withdrawal right that cannot legally be excluded.
4. Training, health and safety
Strength training, bench pressing and the use of barbells and weights involve inherent risks, including equipment failure, falls, strains, serious injury and death. You train voluntarily and accept responsibility for decisions made during training.
Before starting or changing an exercise programme, seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional if you have an injury, medical condition, symptoms, concerns about your health, or any reason to believe training may be unsafe. Stop training and seek appropriate help if you experience pain, dizziness, faintness, breathing difficulty or other concerning symptoms.
Use appropriate equipment, safety arms or pins, secure collars and a competent spotter where appropriate. Inspect equipment, follow the rules of the facility, use loads you can control, and never rely on the app as your only safety measure.
Plans, estimated one-repetition maximum values, target dates, progress forecasts and suggested loads are estimates based on information available to the Service. They may be wrong or unsuitable if the information you provide is inaccurate, incomplete or no longer current. You must use your own judgement and adjust or stop any session that does not feel safe.
Two Plates does not promise that you will bench press 100 kg, 225 lb or any other weight by a particular date, or at all. Results vary with training history, age, health, recovery, nutrition, adherence, genetics and other factors beyond our control.
5. Coaching and AI features
Some coaching features may use Apple Intelligence and Apple's on-device Foundation Models when supported and enabled on your device. AI-generated content can be incomplete, inaccurate or inappropriate. It is provided as general information and must not be treated as medical, emergency or professional advice.
Safety-related checks and deterministic calculations reduce risk but do not remove it. You remain responsible for every load, repetition and training decision. If AI output conflicts with your judgement, professional advice, facility rules or safe lifting practice, do not follow it.
AI availability depends on compatible Apple hardware, software, language, region and Apple Intelligence settings. We do not guarantee that AI features will be available on every device or at all times.
6. Your information and training records
You retain ownership of information you enter into Two Plates, including profile details, training preferences, workout logs and coaching messages. You grant NORDIC APP STUDIO LTD only the limited rights necessary to process that information to provide, secure, synchronise and improve the Service in accordance with the Privacy Policy and your settings.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping your device and Apple Account secure. Do not enter content that is unlawful, infringes another person's rights, contains malicious code or is intended to disrupt the Service.
Two Plates is not intended as permanent medical, safety or record-keeping storage. Keep independent copies of information you cannot afford to lose.
7. Acceptable use
You must not:
- copy, sell, rent, sublicense, redistribute or commercially exploit the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or attempt to discover source code, except to the limited extent that such restriction is prohibited by law;
- remove copyright, trademark or ownership notices;
- circumvent subscriptions, access controls, security protections or usage limits;
- interfere with the Service, its infrastructure or another user's use;
- use automated systems to extract data or overload the Service; or
- use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent or harmful activity.
We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, NORDIC APP STUDIO LTD, third parties or the integrity of the Service.
8. Updates and availability
We may add, modify, suspend or remove features, content or integrations to improve the Service, address security or legal requirements, adapt to platform changes, or discontinue functionality that is no longer practical to support.
Updates may be required for continued use. Older versions may stop functioning or may not receive support. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability, compatibility with every device, or continued availability of any particular feature.
9. Third-party services
The Service may rely on Apple services such as the App Store, StoreKit, iCloud, CloudKit, HealthKit and Apple Intelligence, and may use service providers such as Firebase and RevenueCat. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy notices.
We are not responsible for outages, changes, restrictions or decisions made by third-party providers. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience and do not constitute an endorsement or guarantee of their content.
10. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We disclaim warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with all devices, or suitable for a particular training outcome.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer protections that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NORDIC APP STUDIO LTD and its officers, employees, contractors, affiliates and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, including loss of data, profits, opportunity or business, arising from use of or inability to use the Service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, gross negligence, intentional misconduct, or any liability that cannot legally be limited.
Mandatory consumer rights and remedies under applicable law remain unaffected.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. To end a subscription, cancel it through your Apple Account settings. Deleting the app does not automatically cancel a subscription.
We may terminate or suspend your licence if you materially breach these Terms, misuse the Service, fail to pay an amount due, or if the Service is discontinued. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, liability and dispute provisions, will continue to apply.
13. Governing law and disputes
If you have a concern, contact support@2pl8s.app so we can try to resolve it promptly.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection laws that apply in your country of residence. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear disputes. Nothing in this section removes a consumer's right to use a competent consumer dispute body or bring a claim where mandatory law permits.
If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in law, the Service, subscriptions, technology or business practices. When a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice before it takes effect where required. The updated date appears at the top of this page.
Your continued use after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. If you do not accept an update, stop using the Service and cancel any subscription.
